Diaconal Ordination

On Sunday, April 6, 2008, at 10:30 a.m., at the Holy Family Church, in São Caetano do Sul-SP, our confreres the perpetual professed João Roberto Bonato and José Aguiar Nobre were ordained Deacons. The ordination was conferred by the imposition of the hands of Most Rev. João Carlos Seneme, CSS, Auxiliary Bishop of Curitiba, PR. The ceremony was unfolded in a festive atmosphere, and with much spiritual fervor. The Church was crowded by faithful from the parish community and from other places like Uberaba-MG, Ribeirão Preto, Campinas, São Paulo, Praia Grande, Araras, Rio Claro, Iracemápolis and Jandira (all in the state of São Palo), where the professed served, as well as from other where they have relatives and friends.

There attended the ceremony the Superior Provincial, Fr. Aparecido Neres Santana, the Provincial Vicar, Pe. Mário José Filho, the Councilors Fr. José Tadeu Aguiar Lima and Fr. Leobino Rodrigues Rocha; and also Fr. Jordélio Siles Ledo, Fr Esaú Messias Pauloso, Fr. Reinaldo Reis Lima and Fr. Vanderlei Valentim, Militar Chaplain of the Army. There attended also two deacons of the Archdiocese of São Paulo, as well as our seminarians of the House of Theology.

After the ceremony, there was offered a tasteful dinner for their relatives and friends who came from the neighbor cities. The dinner was cheered up with songs played by the youth group of the Our Lady of the Good Counsel Parish, in the district of Mooca, city of São Paulo.

All those who attended the ceremony wondered with the organization to offer the warm welcome, planned in the very little details by the community of the Holy Family Parish.
