Stigmatine Worldwide Presence
The Congregation has its General Office in Rome, Italy, where the General Superior and the other members of the General Council live and work.
The Congregation is organized in Provinces, each one directed by a Provincial Superior and its Council.
The Provinces are composed of the Provincial Office, Parishes, Seminaries, Houses of Welcome and Missions, Retreat Houses, Conference Centers, Schools etc.
At the picture above we can see the countries where the Congregation is present today.
Italy is the country where the Congregation was founded, in Verona, a frontier city at the North region, in 1816. There are two Provinces there:
Province Holy Mary of the Hope (Provincia Santa Maria Della Speranza), erected in 1980, with its Provincial Office in Battipaglia and including the countries Philippines and India.
Both Provinces are composed by several Parishes and Seminaries, in addition to the places where the Founder, St. Gaspar Bertoni, lived and worked as Seminarian and as a Priest. We can find in this website:

St. Paul Church, in Verona, where St. Gaspar was baptized and where he worked as Seminarian and later as a Priest;

The Stigmatines arrived in the United States of AMERICA in 1905, and founded there, in 1944, the Province of the Holy Spouses, with its Provincial Curia is in Waltham, a city in Boston region, Massachusetts State. The Province is composed by many Parishes and Houses. We can find in this website:
Espousal Center - Stigmatine property in Waltham, MA, composed by the Provincial Office, Bertoni and St. Joseph's Hall (residence of the Stigmatine Fathers and Brothers), the Sanctuaries of the Holy Spouses and the Virgin Mary and the Retreat House and Conference Center;
Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, in Milford, a city in Boston region also.
Recently, in July of 2005, the Stigmatines began a new foundation in the state of California:
Holy Cross Parish, in West Sacramento;
St. Elizabeth Parish, in Sacramento.
The Stigmatines arrived in Brazil in 1910, and founded there two Provinces:
Province of the Holy Cross (Província Santa Cruz), erected in 1944, with houses in the States of São Paulo, Paraná and Bahia and at the neighbor countries ChilE and Paraguay;
Province of St. Joseph (Província São José), erected in 1979 (after to have been erected in 1970 as Vice-Province), with houses in the States of Minas Gerais, Goiás, Tocantins and Rio de Janeiro and in the Federal District.
The Stigmatines arrived in the Thailand in 1952 and founded there, in 1980 (as Vice-Province, and later in 1996 as Province), the Province Mary the Morning Star.
