Who are they?

Stigmatine Laity are men and women who propose to live their Christian life under the guidance of Saint Gaspar Bertoni, founder of the Congregation of the Sacred Stigmata.

Bertonian Family (FABER)

Stigmatine Laity in Brazil are gathered in a big family named Bertonian Family ("FABER").

In each Stigmatine Parish the local FABER develops its works and have prayer and study meetings, and celebrations.

Every year all the Stigmatine Laity have a meeting with the FABER Spiritual Director. At this meeting they share their experiences, evaluate their journeys and make plans for the next year.

Stigmatine Youth

As part of the Bertonian Family, the young laity, inspired in the work of St. Gaspar with the youth of his time, for which he is recognized as The Apostle of the Youth, make part also of a group named Stigmatine Youth.
